Hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Xiangtan University, Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, and the Guangzhou Federation of Industry & Commerce, the conference served as a vibrant platform for academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration. The event was organized by the Faculty of Computing at UTM, the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, and the Guangzhou Center for Private Economic Development.
The highlight of the conference was a series of five keynote speeches delivered by renowned experts:
Professor Ts. Dr. Wan Mohd Nasir Wan Kadir (UTM, Malaysia)
Topic: "Software Quality in the AI Era: Techniques, Challenges, and the Road Ahead"
Professor Wan shared insights on enhancing software quality through AI-driven approaches, drawing from his extensive experience in large-scale software systems and consultancy projects.

Professor Fan Pingyi (Tsinghua University, China)
Topic: "AI and the Metaverse: Integration, Challenges and Towards Good"
An IET Fellow and recipient of the NAAI 2025 AI Exploration Award, Professor Fan explored the convergence of artificial intelligence and the metaverse, highlighting both opportunities and ethical considerations.

Professor Zhou Huan (Northwestern Polytechnical University, China)
Topic: "Fused-Layer-based Model Parallelism and Path Offloading"
A recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Youth Fund, Professor Zhou presented cutting-edge research on model parallelism and optimization techniques.

Professor Suleman Mazhar (Harbin Engineering University, China)
Topic: "Deep Learning based architectures for end-to-end Underwater OFDM Communication and Channel Mismatch Problem"
Professor Mazhar discussed innovative deep learning solutions for underwater acoustic communication and marine conservation applications.

Professor Jianquan Ouyang (Xiangtan University, China)
Topic: "CAIT: Context-Adaptive Instruction Tuning with Hybrid Selection for Clinical NLP Tasks"
Professor Ouyang introduced a novel approach to instruction tuning for clinical natural language processing, demonstrating strong potential for medical AI applications.

Following the keynote sessions, the conference featured an oral presentation session with seven emerging researchers presenting their latest findings. Topics ranged from joint slope and phase modulated LFM waveforms for ISAC systems to large language model frameworks for automated exam report generation. Presenters came from prestigious institutions including Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Hainan University, Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, and East China University of Technology.
A 20-minute tea break provided attendees with an opportunity to network and continue discussions in a relaxed setting.
